Purchased so I'd always have room to melt enough wax to stamp over the top of a floral stem or some such. For fellow users: Recommend using a stirrer or toothpick to check that larger numbers of beads are adequately melted, so that you don't need to rely on vision so much when the spoon is near a flame (bright point of light - messes with vision) for the longer time that would be required to melt all beads :)
